WHO 👤 — Alfonso Garzas
Alfonso started doing theatre when he was a child and improv in 2010. He has taken and taught workshops all over Europe and has improvised in Spanish, English, and even German. 🌍 Born in Spain, Alfonso lived 8 years in Berlin (where he co-founded a company that still exists today) and 2 years in Helsinki before settling in Malaga, where he created Mylaga, a community of improv in English. All these experiences have given him a good perspective of what improvisation is, impacting his way of teaching and performing. 🎭
WHAT 🎬 Transitions and Endings (improv) - 3h
Level: beginners (at least 6 months of doing improv required)
In this short workshop, we will look at tools to end improv scenes in many different ways, without hesitation and without blocks. We will explore ways to understand when it's time to change a scene, how to make that transition, and when it's time to end the scene. We will work on ways to do those transitions and endings in a clean and professional way. ✨🎭
